Apart from their victory in T20 world cup 2012, the West Indian team also reached the semi final stage of 2009 ICC T20 world cup and 2014 ICC T20 world cup. In the previous 5 T20 world cups, West Indies has played 25 matches, won 12 matches, lost 11 matches and their winning percentage is 52.08%. West Indies is on the 4th spot in ICC T20 rankings.
